Community

Greenland Community Primary School prides ourselves on what we offer our children over and above their learning.  Whenever possible we will identify and implement as many enrichment opportunities as possible.

We have very close links with our local community as a whole and individual community groups; some visit our school on a regular basis and work closely with us to help make changes.

Our F.R.O.G.S (Friends of Greenland School) work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds for school which is used in a variety of ways. This ranges from helping cutting the cost of school trips for children, to providing treats for the children at the end of the year.  If you would like to play an active role in our FROGS, give us a call at school on (01207) 232147.

The local police force come in to school to work with our Mini Police. These children help out in the community making sure we are all responsible citizens.

As a school we endeavour to work closely with parents and our families, this is essential for continued growth.
